About Wheel of Names Picker

Wheel of Names Picker is a free wheel of names for anyone who needs a quick, fair and fun way to pick at random. Add your names, spin the wheel and you have an answer in a few seconds.

Why we built it

Lots of spinner wheels are slow to load, full of clutter or ask you to sign up before you can spin. We wanted a spin wheel that opens instantly, looks good on a projector or a phone, and does one job well: picking at random.

How picks are made

Each spin uses your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (the Web Crypto API) to choose the winning slice before the animation starts. All slices are the same size, so every entry has the same chance, and no spin depends on the one before.

Your privacy

The random wheel generator runs completely on your device. Your names, results and settings are saved only in your own browser so they're still there next time, and they're never uploaded to us. Clear your list or your results any time with one click.
